About our firm...Kapetan and Kapetan was founded in 1995, by former Deputy District Attorneys Peter N. Kapetan and Jon N. Kapetan. With the addition of Marc N. Kapetan in 1996, the partnership of brothers was complete.
The firm quickly became known as one of the Central Valley's most respected law firms, not only for their trustworthiness and honesty, but for their dedication and commitment to fighting for the rights of their clients.
In 2002, the California General Election resulted in one of the firms founders, the Honorable Jon N. Kapetan, being elevated to the bench of the California Superior Court, in Frenso County. We are proud of his accomplishments and thank the People of California for having faith in the character and integrity of our brother.

- • Take Photos - of all injuries as soon as you can. Keep taking pictures everyday until all signs of the injury disappear. Try to use a digital camera so that you can check the quality of the photo. Make sure you have enough lighting and the photo is in focus. Also, take photos of all property damage to your vehicle.
- • Keep a log or diary of your daily activities and doctors appointments. Also, write down your pain levels. You can use a 1 to 10 type rating system.
- • Contact an attorney immediately. Do not attempt to negotiate with the insurance company or give any statement, if you intend on having an attorney represent you. You should at least attend a free consultation with an experienced attorney as soon as possible.
